Normally, these universities have an online classroom for each course and the assignments are sent to your email address in a common word processing format. In return, you need to send the completed assignments in the same format.

Attending the online classes

Classes are provided through interactive multimedia along with other tools like power point presentations and all. You can also get the print outs of the course material.

Generally, there are some discussion forums where the students can share their problems and related issues. Different universities have different policies and practices in place regarding this. Also to bring it up to the level of other part time courses, you may need to log in the classes for a minimum period.

Completing your course

The duration in which you earn your degree depends on many factors like the type of degree you are enrolled into, your previous academic qualifications, the pace with which you are handling the course etc.
